My Favourite Fall Photoshoot Locations
Red and gold leaves, pumpkins, corn mazes—there's a lot to love about autumn here in the Lower Mainland. Each background makes for a different experience, meaning there are a ton of places to choose from if you're looking to book a photoshoot.
Where to go, though? Do you feel stumped? As a professional photographer I can share with you some of my favourite places in the event you need a little help to plan for it. Here are my favourite fall photoshoot locations for your consideration.
Applebarn Farm (Abbotsford)
For over 30 years the Taves family have run this exceptional farm with its bountiful apple orchards and pumpkin patch to name a few of the wonderful things they have to offer. Families can enjoy all sorts of activities while I take pictures in the meantime, such as hayrides, the petting barn, u-picks, and a whole lot more.
Relax and enjoy yourselves as I hang out in the background and take pictures of your most special and loving moments for you. This location contains family fall fun at its finest, and they offer all kinds of opportunities for small events too.
All-year-round favourites
As I mentioned in my previous blog post about outdoor photoshoots in Vancouver BC, these places provide a wonderful, all-year-round special kind of experience for any family wanting to be photographed:
Deer Lake (Burnaby)
Lafarge Lake (Port Coquitlam)

At each of these places you'll be able to let each setting speak for itself while you relax and enjoy your loved ones' presences, while I do the hard work of photographing.

Many of the fall-themed ideas for photoshoots do require special permission from the farms (which won't always be granted), hence why my list in this case is quite short!
