Family photography Port Coquitlam
My name is Cheryl Kathler. I’m a professional photographer who specializes in Capturing Your Stage of Life. My specialities include family photography, weddings, newborns, and headshots/branding sessions. Since 2000 I have been working my dream job, operating both in and out of Port Coquitlam, and also serving the Metro Vancouver area including Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Surrey, New Westminster, Richmond, Langley, and the Fraser Valley. I also have a studio in Port Coquitlam and have become well known for my amazing Christmas Mini sessions. I wouldn’t trade this profession for the world!
As far back as I can remember, a camera has always been in my hands. I had opportunities to assist photographers at friends' weddings, and then started taking family photos, and of course, photographing my own children. People have told me that my passion overflows and helps to relax and bring out the best in them. I am also looking for that different angle, a special fleeting moment, or anything else that presents itself during a photography session. Organization is another key component when taking photos. A wedding, a large family shoot, or a business branding session, all take time to put together the pieces to create the lasting memories. I shine in this area.
Photos by Cheryl is my passion and my heart is full. I have met so many wonderful people, and I love hearing all of the different stories they have to share. Helping them create and enjoy new memories using my skills as a professional photographer is a honour.
I have been voted Port Coquitlam's Favourite Photographer for the last 3 years and LOVE to help people create and preserve treasured moments. I also enjoy taking scenery pictures and simply capturing moments that others don't see! My home and office are like a photo gallery; it celebrates people and landscapes. One look will tell you for certain that I’ve got a sharp, creative eye for photography.
